B4 CHASSIS CAB
The Bollinger B4 Chassis Cab is an all-new, all-electric class 4 truck designed to be custom-configured by fleets to fit their exact duty cycle needs, making the transition to electric as seamless as possible with minimal downtime. Every aspect of these trucks has been streamlined to be as versatile as possible. Our proprietary, clean, unobstructed frame rails are designed for easy mounting and upfit adaptation, with all drivetrain components safely packaged inside the rails. With either Level 2 or DC Fast Charge, we ensure your fleet stays on the road. The B4 uses a familiar cab-forward design for better visibility, freeing up space behind the driver for more cargo. The B4 will be electrifying fleets in the second half of 2024.

Our proprietary, purpose-built commercial EV chassis sets us apart from the competition, offering the ultimate in protection, performance, and versatility. With a width of 40″ compared to the traditional 34″, our frame provides ample space for securely housing batteries and components between the rails. This configuration ensures weight is centered and low, resulting in improved driving dynamics. Our quad-bend tapered frame enhances maneuverability, allowing a 40″ frame to turn like a 34″ frame, creating a 46’ turning radius. The flat frame rails streamline upfits with minimal customization required, leading to faster turnaround times. Additionally, all components, including batteries, are accessible from below the frame, facilitating easier maintenance and repair.

Equipped with twin batteries, the B4 ensures safer and longer journeys on the road. We are working with world-class battery manufacturer, ONE, to provide an unwavering standard in reliability. High-voltage components will operate on an 800-volt platform, with a 2-battery pack system, providing a 185 mile range* to a charge at 50% load. The ONE Aries LFP chemistry contains no nickel or cobalt, offering superior durability and daily charging up to 100% without compromise and reducing the chance of thermal events.Charging the B4 battery at AC Level 2 will take 9 hours at 19.2KW, while at DC Fast Charge, it will take 2 hours at 110KW.

A cab-forward design increases visibility for drivers near and far, keeping them and all beings around them out of harm’s way. Our frame safeguards batteries and vital components, while our ONE batteries, built with Lithium Iron Phosphate, minimize thermal event risks. The optional Mobileye ADAS system can add an additional layer of safety for drivers as well.
