Recruiter 

  • Responsible for all recruiting-related activities for mainly technical and engineering talent sourcing.
  • Provide guidance and consulting to hiring managers regarding job details, candidates’ skills, and hiring process.
  • Talent assessment of potential candidates by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating onsite interviews.
  • Responsible for sourcing a variety of department positions with an emphasis on engineering recruitment.
  • Utilize proactive and creative cost-effective recruitment methods to attract candidates, including leveraging online recruiting resources.
  • Responsible for gathering candidate compensation information.
  • Required to have 2 + years of recruiting experience with an emphasis in engineering/technical-related position.
  • Need prior automotive recruiting and Human Resources-related experience.
  • Bachelors degree is preferred or commensurate experience.

 

Project Manager – BIW and Closures

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, mainly in MS Project.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to identify key suppliers.
  • Send out RFQs including technical documents, specifications, CAD, and other documents to sources.
  • Manage POs to suppliers, MRD dates, inventory, and production launch.
  • Create supplier relationships and assess performance for pricing, quality, and logistics.
  • Oversee production BOM for body and structures and manage engineering changes with suppliers.
  • Purchase prototype and production materials, ER&D, tooling and consumables.
  • Command control of the project timeline and work as team leader when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive project management required.
  • 2+ years of automotive body, closures and structures experience.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required.
  • Microsoft Project proficiency required.
  • Extreme attention to detail required.
  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent a plus.
  • Solidworks knowledge a plus.
  • Solidworks EPDM knowledge a plus.
  • Must be creative, innovative, decisive, and prone to action.

Electrical Engineer

  • Define and document system, sub-system, and component functional and performance requirements
  • Lead electrical component selections for one or more vehicle systems
  • Design and execute component, sub-system, and system design validation plan
  • Define and document electrical and communication interfaces to the rest of the vehicle electrical system
  • Support harness, electrical assembly, and vehicle integration builds
  • Work with suppliers to ensure performance and timing expectations are met
  • Design, build, and use test bench setups for system testing and validation
  • Build internal hardware and software tools to improve quality and efficiency
  • Process and analyze test data and provide analysis, insight, and feedback for development
  • Assist in vehicle system modeling and simulation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar field required
  • Previous vehicle electrical design and integration experience required
  • Experience working in structured engineering process including definition of requirements and objective function, concept creation, market analysis for components, analyzing options, and making final engineering decisions.
  • Experience working in Agile project management environment a plus
  • Relevant electric or hybrid vehicle work is a plus
  • Hands-on wiring harness build and installation experience a plus
  • Experience with power electronics component design is a plus
  • Knowledge of and experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Flexray, PLC, RS485, SPI, Wireless 802.11, DSRC etc. is a plus
  • Participation in SAE Collegiate Design Series highly preferred

Mechanical Engineer – Chassis Lead

  • Lead development of hydro-pneumatic suspension systems
  • Lead development of steering systems
  • Lead development of braking systems
  • Lead development of tire/wheel systems
  • Lead new design concepts from idea to implementation on production vehicles
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices to assigned tasks in the design, development, analysis and release of products and subsystems
  • Verify design using analysis and or functional testing, interpret results, drive decisions, and assess risk
  • Responsible for accuracy of detail drawings directly or as collaboration with designers
  • Identify and assess possible suppliers for production of products
  • Work with other functional areas within the vehicle development team to ensure that all vehicle interfaces are defined and supported
  • Create and maintain component and system DVP&R
  • Create and maintain system EBOM
  • Support vehicle testing, rig testing, and Hardware-In-the-Loop simulations to demonstrate system functionality
  • Manage system quality, cost and timing to ensure high quality program deliverables
  • Support vehicle prototype builds as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related degree
  • 5+ years relevant direct automotive chassis work experience required
  • Working experience with EV technology
  • 2+ years design or development experience in chassis or powertrain controls
  • Experience with FMEA and related quality assurance processes
  • Familiarity with hydro-pneumatic suspension systems
  • Working experience developing steering systems
  • Working experience developing suspension systems
  • Working experience developing braking systems
  • Working experience developing tire/wheel systems
  • Outstanding leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with objective testing of vehicles for handling, steering, ride, braking, tires.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance testing
  • Substantial background in designing complex parts required
  • Working knowledge of Solidworks and Solidworks Simulation tools
  • PLP/GD&T, dimensional tolerance stack-ups and experience with engineering standards required
  • Ability to contribute in all vehicle systems by using knowledge in thermal, materials, and hydraulic disciplines required

Vehicle Controls Engineer

  • Lead the vehicle controls software development team
  • Design and build the vehicle controls software
  • Design and test vehicle controls algorithms
  • Design, build, and test controls related verification solutions
  • Assist in the development and execution of a vehicle level controls test plan
  • Assist in the selection of vehicle controls system components
  • Define, implement, and validate all relevant on-vehicle communication interfaces
  • Implement and validate communication interfaces between vehicle and off-vehicle equipment
  • Troubleshoot vehicle controls issues throughout the duration of testing and production
  • Support the growth of the controls team by assisting in selection of talent, tools, and processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Desire and ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed work environment
  • 2+ years of experience working on vehicle control software design and integration
  • Experience with in-vehicle software development and testing
  • Experience with model-based software design in Simulink
  • Experience with vehicle dynamics modeling and simulation

Controls Test Engineer

  • Lead the verification and validation activity for the vehicle controls system
  • Design and build the vehicle controls test environment
  • Define detailed vehicle controls test procedures and processes
  • Execute virtual testing of vehicle controls algorithms
  • Execute mixed virtual and physical testing of controls related vehicle functions
  • Assist in the development and execution of a vehicle level controls test plan
  • Assist in the selection of vehicle controls system components
  • Assist in the validation all relevant on-vehicle communication interfaces
  • Assist in diagnosis and troubleshooting of vehicle controls issues as needed
  • Support the growth of the controls test team by assisting in selection of talent and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Desire and ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed work environment
  • 2+ years of experience working on vehicle control software design, integration, or test
  • Experience with hardware in the loop controls system development and testing
  • Experience with model-based software design using Matlab Simulink required
  • Experience with vehicle performance modeling and simulation preferred

Lead Electrical Engineer Low Voltage

  • Lead a team in the design and development of an electric vehicle low voltage
  • Define low voltage wire harness and interconnection architecture
  • Define communication network architecture and integrate vehicle communication systems
  • Work on wiring and connector requirements to support harness builds
  • Specify and select hardware such as sensors, actuators, controllers, etc.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure performance and timing expectations are met
  • Design, build, and use test bench setups for system testing and validation
  • Build internal hardware and software tools to improve quality and efficiency
  • Process and analyze test results and provide analysis, insight, and feedback for development
  • Develop and implement system, sub-system, and component design validation plans
  • Develop and implement product validation plans with suppliers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field Masters in Engineering is a plus
